Photogrammetry course

Published Sun 15 Mar 2020

The two day course was run by a marine archaeologist from the Major Projects Foundation (MPF), a marine research and conservation not-for-profit organisation.

The BSAC members who attended got a lot out of the course and even managed to process some of the data collected from the Aarhus club dive a few weeks before. The plan is to do a more complete survey of the Aarhus wreck and produce a complete photogrammetry map of the whole site now members of Brisbane BSAC are trained in Photogrammetry and of course we can get to the site given the current restrictions.

This is a screen shot of the bow of the Aarhus wreck which was made by the Photogrammetry Program.
