Flinders' Reef Dive 28 April 2019

Published Sun 28 Apr 2019

It was a beautiful sun bright morning when 9 intrepid Brisbane BSAC and a guest from the Melbourne BSAC, James Chong, boarded Sunreef’s “Wild One” bound for Flinders’ Reef.

It was a fast ride to the location and we did two dives at the Coral Garden area and the highlight being the Turtle Cleaning Station where we viewed 5 to 6 turtles surfing the mild current while having their shells cleaned by a myriad of tropical fish. Of course I had my macro setup on but managed to get some video on my happy snappy camera.

The water temperature was 24-25oC, visibility 15m and a mild current and surge in the shallower areas.
