Several of our members are headed to the Philippines in March. Jetstar now flies directly from Brisbane to Cebu and airfares are cheap at present, so this will be a relatively low-cost trip (<$2,000).

The trip will be based at two different dive centers, diving Apo Island from Mahi Mahi resort and then to see Whale Sharks with Whale Shark Resort.

• Sat 7th fly Brisbane BNE to Cebu
• Sat 7th 1 night Bai Hotel
• Sun 8th Travel Cebu to Dumaguete
• Sun 8th – Weds 11th , 4 nights at Mahi Mahi Dive resort
• Mon 9th – Weds 11th, 3 days, 2 dives / day diving at Mahi Mahi Dive resort
• Thurs 12th – Sat 14th , 3 nights and 2 days diving at Whale Shark Dive Camp
• Sun 15th, transfer to Cebu, Flight Cebu to Brisbane

Approx Costs:

• Flight basic cost return via Jetstar (as of 27.12.25): $474 (+ extras for luggage / seat upgrades)
• Accommodation, transfers and 5 days diving (10 dives +/- night dive): $1,376
• Total flights + accommodation + diving: $1,850

Trip Requirements

• Current Membership of Brisbane BSAC Club and BSAC
• Medical certificate up to date as fit to dive
• Sport Diver / Open Water Diver Qualification
• Want to socialise and make new friends!
